Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zamir Al Din (ranked 5101 p4p, 5582 weight class) and Travis Hopkins (ranked 547 p4p, 560 weight class). Zamir Al Din could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Travis Hopkins's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 1 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Zamir Al Din!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Travis Hopkins!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Robert Twigg and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Al Din.
Hopkins is looking to reverse the position.
Sloppy strikes there by Al Din.
Hopkins tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Al Din wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Hopkins gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Hopkins manages to get to full guard.
Hopkins wants to sweep but no luck.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Hopkins is on top in guard.
Al Din working for a triangle but Hopkins defends it easily.
Al Din working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hopkins doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hopkins manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hopkins drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Al Din manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Hopkins has Al Din in his guard.
Hopkins manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Al Din manages to get himself to full guard.
Al Din has his foot on Hopkins's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Hopkins works his way back into a safe position though.
Hopkins sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Al Din's guard.
Hopkins looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Hopkins is trying to work for a kimura but Al Din is defending well.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hopkins is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Hopkins is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Al Din doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Hopkins.
Hopkins is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Al Din sees it coming and defends easily.
Hopkins is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Al Din has managed to free his arm - good work.
Al Din is defending against the submission attempts here by Hopkins.
And that's the end of the fight!
That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Zamir Al Din.
Well Al Din has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
