Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mac Anudo (ranked 744 p4p, 437 weight class) and Mikail Spartakov (ranked 94 p4p, 65 weight class). Mikail Spartakov has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Mac Anudo's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Chris Dean and Ron Honeybunn.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anudo tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Spartakov defends well and Anudo ends up having to push Spartakov into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Spartakov manages to break the clinch.
Anudo shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Spartakov as he avoids it easily.
A little jabbing left from Spartakov on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Anudo shoots in but Spartakov avoids the takedown attempt easily.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Spartakov! But no joy.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mac Anudo. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Anudo takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.

It looks like Mac Anudo has been cut.
Spartakov takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Anudo closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Spartakov is bucking up trying to escape but Anudo cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Anudo throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Spartakov is squirming around, avoiding Anudo's attempts to control the action.
Spartakov is bucking up trying to escape but Anudo cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Anudo jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Spartakov manages to avoid the submission attempt.
Anudo lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.

It looks like Mikail Spartakov has been cut.

Spartakov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Anudo. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Spartakov has momentary wrist control but Anudo slips an elbow through the middle.

Anudo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Spartakov swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Spartakov might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Anudo haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Anudo is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Spartakov can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Mikail Spartakov's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
