Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Cody Evans (ranked 1610 p4p, 943 weight class) and Flo Holl (ranked 146 p4p, 86 weight class). Flo Holl has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Cody Evans!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Flo Holl!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, George Francis and Robert Twigg.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holl lands a leg kick that knocks Evans off balance momentarily.
Holl has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Holl ducks under a wild hook from Evans.

Evans tries to keep at a distance but Holl has taken the fight into the clinch.
Evans dodges an elbow strike from Holl.
Evans takes a shot to the head.
Evans drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Holl gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Evans goes for a takedown attempt but Holl pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
We've been told by Evans's head coaches at The Jungle Room that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Holl jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Holl throws the kick towards the body but Evans avoids it.
Holl misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Evans half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Holl fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Evans has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Holl tries to sprawl but Evans drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Evans looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Holl with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Evans throws a hook but Holl blocks it.

and Evans counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Evans's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Holl appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.

Evans is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Holl's shoulder. That is not cool.

A telegraphed right hand from Evans misses the target.
Holl tries to land a front kick but Evans steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Holl throws a nice inside leg kick.
Flo Holl is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Evans has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Evans there as he acknowledges the shot.
Evans ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Holl moves away.

Flo Holl seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
