Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brock Hardman (ranked 1687 p4p, 1513 weight class) and Jimmy Nitro (ranked 274 p4p, 241 weight class). Nitro has chosen Kingdom - Downstrait as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 14 - 0, fighting out of London, Brock Hardman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jimmy Nitro!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Percy O'Donnell and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hardman is looking to chop away at Nitro's legs.
Nitro looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Hardman fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Nitro on the side of the head.
Nitro moves out of range of the leg kick from Hardman.
Hardman paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Hardman has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Hardman there as he acknowledges the shot.
Nitro bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Hardman's head backwards.
Hardman lands with an uppercut that bounces Nitro off the cage and back into range.
Hardman misses with an uppercut
and Nitro counters with a solid body kick.

Nitro steps into range and cracks Hardman with a monster punch that buckles his knees! Hardman flops backwards and Nitro dives into his guard looking to finish!

Hardman is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hardman is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Oh Hardman is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hardman has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Nitro moves into full mount! Hardman won't be happy about that!

Nitro wants to finish this one by submission but Hardman is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Nitro.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hardman is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Nitro looking to control and managing it successfully.
Hardman tries to lock up and control but Nitro gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Hardman is looking to improve his position but Nitro isn't that keen on the idea.
Hardman tries to hold on but Nitro postures up.
Hardman is in all sorts of trouble here.
Nitro can't control as he wanted to and Hardman manages to get the fight back to his half guard.

Hardman wants to hold on but Nitro pushes him away.

Hardman tries to lock up and control but Nitro gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Nitro can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hardman is looking to escape.

Nitro wants to control the pace but Hardman is squirming around nicely.

That's time! Hardman's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Hardman will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Nitro follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
Hardman motions for Nitro to come forward. Hardman throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Hardman has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Nitro.

Nitro drops Hardman with a big left hand and mounts him. Hardman is in big trouble!

It looks like Brock Hardman has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Nitro is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Hardman has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Nitro trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Nitro quickly switches position and commits to an armbar! It's a big risk for Nitro but it's paid off an Hardman is forced to tap! Nice work by Nitro.
