Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nate Masvidal (ranked 1363 p4p, 1497 weight class) and John Edmonds (ranked 182 p4p, 211 weight class). Edmonds has chosen Frankie Smith - Double Dutch Bus as his entrance music. Nate Masvidal is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 27 - 1, fighting out of London, Nate Masvidal!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 35 - 25 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Edmonds!
The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, Winston Howard and Chris Dean.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Masvidal has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Edmonds finds it's way round the side to connect with Masvidal's head.
Masvidal looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Masvidal blocks a jab.
John Edmonds seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Masvidal throws a head kick that misses.
Edmonds looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Edmonds has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Edmonds gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Masvidal gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Edmonds is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
