PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Devin Hill (ranked 1649 p4p, 1290 weight class) and Tauski Mountain (ranked 88 p4p, 67 weight class). Tauski Mountain told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hill throws a hook but Mountain blocks it.

Hill has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

As Hill backs off Mountain throws a huge counter combo but Hill manages to avoid it all.
Hill has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Hill there as he acknowledges the shot.

It looks like Devin Hill has been cut.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Hill tries to roll over but Mountain keeps him under control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hill has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Mountain is working away from the top position though.
Hill gets back to full guard.
Hill looking to hit a scissor sweep but Mountain is one step ahead there.
Tauski Mountain has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Hill bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Mountain's guard.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hill, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
