With a record of 12 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Reggie Barnes!
The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, Ron Honeybunn and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barnes feints and then cracks Yan's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Yan down.
Yan lands a right hook to the body.
Barnes scores with a one two! Yan had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Yan avoids a kick to the body.
Barnes lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
We've been informed that Barnes has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
That kick from Barnes tenderised Yan's leg. Yan is trying to keep his angry face on.

A quick step to the side and Yan tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

We've been hearing reports that Yan has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Barnes tries to get into range but Yan steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Barnes! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Yan scores the big KO victory!

After the fight, Jinjing Yan was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
