Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Flo Holl!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Richard Clark and William Gold.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Holl fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Fuguego, pushing him back against the cage.
Holl lands an elbow that stopped Fuguego in his tracks for a moment.
Holl letting Fuguego take a breather here.
Holl tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Fuguego avoids it.
Holl prevents a body shot from Fuguego.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.

Fuguego pulls guard effortlessly.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Holl is just content to waste time from the top position. Fuguego takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Holl throws a push kick but Fuguego slaps the foot to one side.
Fuguego half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Fuguego takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Holl lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Fuguego throws a hook to the side of Holl's head but Holl sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Fuguego shoots in looking for a takedown. Holl tries to sprawl out of it but Fuguego keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Holl manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Fuguego moves out of range of the body kick from Holl.
Holl lands a nice leg kick that just misses Fuguego's sensitive parts.
A slow jab from Fuguego misses its intended target.
A little jabbing left from Holl on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Flo Holl seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Holl throws a body kick that misses.
Fuguego uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Holl.
Fuguego throws a jab when Holl was well out of range.

Fuguego ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Holl connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Fuguego steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Holl. That one must have hurt.
Holl misses with a straight left.
Fuguego swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Holl.
Fuguego swings for the body but Holl moves out of range.
Holl scores with a sloppy right hand. Fuguego should have avoided that one.
Holl throws a shot to the body.
Holl uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Fuguego lands a nice shot that snaps Holl's head back.
Holl throws a head kick that misses.
Fuguego looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Fuguego fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Holl misses with an uppercut. Fuguego saw that one coming.
Holl lunges at Fuguego with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Fuguego's hand.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Holl tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Fuguego is able to avoid easily.

Holl moves out of range as Fuguego strikes.
Holl throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Fuguego's head.
Fuguego blocks a jab.
Fuguego takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Flo Holl seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Holl motions for Fuguego to come forward. Holl throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Fuguego shoots in for a double leg but Holl sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Holl lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Fuguego connects with a good right hand that stumbles Holl. Holl circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Fuguego tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Holl was well out of range. Poor timing from Fuguego.
Holl lands a jab to Fuguego's midsection.

and Fuguego counters with a nice double leg into side control. Holl won't be happy with that.
Fuguego is chipping away with strikes.
Fuguego creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Holl sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Holl is trying to improve his position.

Fuguego remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
Holl gets back to half guard.
Holl tries to roll over but Fuguego keeps him under control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Holl is trying to maintain the position but Fuguego is very close to passing his half guard.
Fuguego working over Holl with some ground and pound. Holl looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
Holl won't allow Fuguego to pass to mount.

Fuguego wants to work for an arm triangle but Holl is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

Fuguego in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Holl tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Fuguego!
