Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chaikka Chai (ranked 1235 p4p, 1066 weight class) and Pyay Thuta (ranked 194 p4p, 165 weight class). Chai comes to the cage accompanied by Dead Man Walking. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Pyay Thuta enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chai throws a hook but Thuta blocks it.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Chai - that will leave a mark!
Chai throws a hook to the side of Thuta's head but Thuta sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Chai throws a sloppy head kick
and Thuta counters with a stiff right hand.
Thuta throws a leg kick
and Chai counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Thuta tries to close the distance and clinch but Chai swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
An attempted straight right counter from Chai misses the target.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Chai misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Chai looks to land a left hand but Thuta moved out of range nicely.
Chai takes a body punch but keeps moving.

Thuta misses with a two punch combination.
An attempted straight right counter from Chai misses the target.
Chai lands with a thumping leg kick.
Thuta comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Chai lands the left hand.

Thuta forces Chai back against the cage and clinches.
Thuta misses with a hook to the ribs.
Chai throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Thutas head.
Chai blocks a body shot from Thuta.
Thuta swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Thuta misses with a punch to the body.
Chai is trying to stall.

Thuta fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
A head punch on the inside from Chai fails to land.
Thuta misses with a hook to the ribs.
Thuta swings wildly with an uppercut but Chai uses good head movement to avoid it.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Thuta.
Thuta lands a left hand.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Thuta lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Chai's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Chai blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Chai tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Chai stalls.
Chai is looking to control Thuta's arms but Thuta gets an underhook and turns him. Now Chai has his back to the cage.

Chai breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Thuta lands a lovely overhand right.
Thuta misses with a leg kick.
An attempted straight right counter from Chai misses the target.
Chai keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Thuta.
Thuta throws a sloppy head kick
and Chai connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Thuta lands with a slapping head kick.
Chai throws a body punch but Thuta moves out of range.
Thuta swings and misses with a hook to the body.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Chai moves out of range of the body kick.
Chai connects with a looping right hand.
Chai slips a straight right by Thuta.
Thuta throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Chai misses with an uppercut
letting Thuta counter with a right hand.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Thuta with the inside leg kick.
Chai throws a solid leg kick but Thuta takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Chai.
Thuta looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.
Chai defending well as Thuta loads up on a big left hand.
A little feinted left hand from Chai on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Pyay Thuta dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Chai connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Chai plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops Thuta to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! Thuta just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:13 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Chaikka Chai!
