The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Myanus ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Myanus shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Nemkov pinned against the cage. Nemkov gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Myanus shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Nemkov is trying to defend but Myanus finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
My spies in Mythic Co. inform me that Myanus has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Nemkov suckers Myanus into throwing a sloppy strike and uses the momentum to reverse the position beautifully! Nemkov is now in Myanus's guard!

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Myanus is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Nemkov in particular looking to stall.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Nemkov got a little sloppy there for a moment and Myanus has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Nemkov has managed to get both his arms back between Myanus's legs - danger averted.
Nemkov is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Myanus looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Nemkov throws a jab when Myanus was well out of range.
Myanus is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Nemkov stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
