The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Pandens misses.
A slow jab from Pandens misses its intended target.
Christoph blocks a jab.
Pandens lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Pandens.
Christoph throws a half hearted mid kick.
Pandens misses with an uppercut
and Christoph counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Pandens needs to keep his hands up - Christoph had a free shot at his head there.

Christoph tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

and Christoph makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Pandens really felt that one!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Pandens lands a big head kick that sends Christoph tumbling to the mat! Pandens takes a step backwards and waves Christoph back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Azriel Pandens has been cut.

Pandens swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
A nice side step and Christoph releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Pandens loads up on a big right hand but Christoph slips the punch.
Christoph seems to have recovered his senses.
Pandens tries a head kick but it misses.
Pandens connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Pandens's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Christoph connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Pandens scrambles back to his feet.

Pandens throws a nice outside leg kick.
Christoph has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Christoph closes the distance and pushes Pandens back into the cage.
Christoph throws a knee to the head but misses.

Christoph jumps guard and drags Pandens to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Christoph is looking for a triangle but Pandens pushes his legs off easily.

Pandens trying to control the position from guard on top but Christoph is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Pandens got a little sloppy there for a moment and Christoph has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Pandens has managed to get both his arms back between Christoph's legs - danger averted.

Christoph is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Pandens frees his head nicely. Oh but Christoph has switched to an armbar! Pandens is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
