Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Brett Shoenfeld (ranked 415 p4p, 693 weight class) and Enzo Williams (ranked 53 p4p, 75 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 20 - 14 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brett Shoenfeld!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 16 - 0, fighting out of London, Enzo Williams!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Hirohito Nitta.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams throws a hook to the side of Shoenfeld's head but Shoenfeld sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Shoenfeld takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Williams's coach down at London MMA Club was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Williams's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Shoenfeld ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Williams rushes Shoenfeld and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Williams can't find room to land a body shot as Shoenfeld controls the action.
Shoenfeld definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Shoenfeld jumps guard but Williams stands there with Shoenfeld around his waist. Shoenfeld gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Shoenfeld drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Williams gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Shoenfeld had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Williams defends it easily.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Shoenfeld slips under a jab from Williams.
Williams misses with a right hand

and Shoenfeld counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Shoenfeld stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Williams swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Williams throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Shoenfeld escapes and throws Williams's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Shoenfeld wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Williams, who protects the arm well.

Williams manages to get back to half guard.
Shoenfeld wants to control but Williams is keeping him busy.
Shoenfeld is really struggling to control Williams but he's trying to hold on to the position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Shoenfeld is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Williams is just riding it out for now. Shoenfeld eventually gives up the hold.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

That was a close round but I would say that Brett Shoenfeld will probably get the nod.

Williams is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Shoenfeld wants to free his trapped foot but Williams is holding on for dear life with his legs.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Brett Shoenfeld.
