Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rayful Edmond (ranked 530 p4p, 78 weight class) and Baldur Torsten (ranked 78 p4p, 14 weight class). Torsten has chosen Temple of Odin as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Rayful Edmond!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 25 - 12 - 0, fighting out of London, Baldur Torsten!
The judges for this bout are Ben Hemmingworth, Bruno Hogan and Ron Honeybunn.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edmond takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Torsten throws a lazy right hand but Edmond sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Nice defenses there by Edmond.
Edmond wants to clinch up but Torsten keeps it at a distance.
Torsten misses with a looping right.
Torsten lands a head shot.
Torsten gets tackled into the cage by Edmond. Edmond maintains the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Torsten breaks from the clinch.
Torsten takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Edmond will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Torsten thinks about the counter body kick.

Edmond lands with a slapping head kick.
It looks like Baldur Torsten has been cut.
Edmond lands a jab to the nose.
Edmond tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Edmond takes a swing at Torsten's ribcage but misses.
Edmond lands with a nice combination. Torsten backs away looking to recover.
Edmond throws a right and a left that both miss.
Torsten was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.

Torsten scores with a nice right hand.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Torsten misses the jab.
An attempted straight right counter from Edmond misses the target.
Edmond throws out a powerful jab.
That has opened up Baldur Torsten's cut even more.
Edmond looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
The fighters circling - Edmond throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Torsten scores with a punch to the head.
Torsten throws a leg kick
and Edmond counters with a nice low kick that buckles Torsten's knee momentarily.
Torsten feints and then cracks Edmond's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Edmond down.
Edmond closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Torsten digs a right hand into Edmond's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Edmond's gas tank.
Edmond has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Torsten throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Edmond trying to stall but Torsten improves his position.
Edmond scores with a shoulder strike.
Torsten keeps control of Edmond as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Edmond misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Torsten lands a left hand that snaps the head of Edmond backwards.

Torsten is working Edmond over against the cage.
Torsten digs a right hand into Edmond's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Edmond's gas tank.

Torsten has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Edmond seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Torsten can turn it around.
Torsten throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Edmonds head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Torsten lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Edmond backwards.
Torsten tries to work over Edmond's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Edmond pushes off an throws an elbow but Torsten leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

Torsten pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Torsten dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Edmond. That did some damage!
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Edmond misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Edmond takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Torsten cracks Edmond on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Edmond falls backwards against the cage. Torsten follows up with more strikes that drop Edmond to his knees. Torsten keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Edmond! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Baldur Torsten!
After winning the bout, Baldur Torsten thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
