Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jans Schmidt!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Robert Twigg and Wesley Smith.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schmidt tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Holl fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Schmidt.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Schmidt fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Holl avoids it really well and circles away.

Holl tries to land a front kick but Schmidt steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Holl throws a leg kick which misses Schmidt's front leg but catches the back leg as Schmidt tries to avoid it.

Schmidt feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

That was a close second round but I would say that Flo Holl will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Jans Schmidt's cut.
That's time! Holl's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. And we move into the final round!

Schmidt changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Holl tries to avoid it but Schmidt manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Holl to the ground. Holl escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Holl tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Schmidt is able to avoid easily.
