The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mason lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

It looks like Bruce Franklin has been cut.

Mason cracks Franklin with a good jab.

Mason shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Franklin is trying to defend but Mason finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Mason tries to pass to full mount but Franklin defends it.
