Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Horley Gore (ranked 1750 p4p, 2044 weight class) and Richard Morrison (ranked 190 p4p, 218 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Horley Gore!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Richard Morrison!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gore is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Morrison.
Gore fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Morrison manages to avoid it.
Richard Morrison seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Morrison thows a body kick. Gore tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Morrison misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Gore counters with a left to the body.
Gore cracks Morrison with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

Morrison shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Gore pinned against the cage. Gore gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Gore tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Morrison was well out of range. Poor timing from Gore.

and Gore counters with a nice uppercut.
A solid leg kick lands there for Morrison.
Morrison throws out a leg kick but Gore moves out of range and Morrison only half commits.
Gore connects with a nice looking jab.

We've been informed that Morrison has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Morrison lands a nice leg kick that just misses Gore's sensitive parts.
Morrison will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Gore shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Morrison takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Gore sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Morrison bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!
