Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Takumi Sagaki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 29 - 21 - 1, fighting out of Tokyo, Zhan Dhelan!
The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, Topper Green and Donatello Bradman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dhelan drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Dhelan stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Sagaki swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Sagaki looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sagaki is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Dhelan wants to improve his position but Sagaki is controlling well.
Sagaki has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Dhelan slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Sagaki throws a big elbow that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Dhelan is on top in guard.

Sagaki is trying to control the position but Dhelan postures up.

Sagaki wants to sweep but no luck.

Sagaki manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Dhelan manages to get himself to full guard.

Dhelan is looking to cinch up a triangle. Sagaki throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Dhelan's body to avoid the submission. Dhelan has instead reached around Sagaki's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Dhelan arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
