And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Larry Henry!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Dean Styles and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz fails with the takedown.
Henry misses with a few strikes there.
Henry tries to sprawl but Diaz drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Henry has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Diaz is working away from the top position though.
Diaz is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Diaz is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Henry defends it well.
Diaz tries to pass the half guard into mount. Henry knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Henry is defending against the submission attempts here by Diaz.
Diaz in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Henry tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Diaz!
