The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yamamoto takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Sims lands a nice shot to the body.
Vudu Sims seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Yamamoto looks winded!

Sims throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Yamamoto tumbling to the canvas!

Yamamoto is rocked!

It looks like Kane Yamamoto has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Sims gets to his feet - Yamamoto follows without any prompting.
Yamamoto is still on wobbly legs! Can Sims finish him?
Sims shoots in and drives through. Yamamoto sprawls well.
Sims shoots in for a double leg but Yamamoto sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Sims shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Yamamoto as he jumps to the side.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vudu Sims. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Yamamoto switches off momentarily and Sims cracks him with a monster right hand! Yamamoto topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Sims dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Sims!
