The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Murska misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Novak was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.

We've been told by Novak's head coaches at DC Dragon Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
The fighters circle momentarily. Murska darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Novak cracks Murska with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Murska looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Novak finish him?

Novak lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Murska up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Novak from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Murska's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
