Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Drax Bautista!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 8 - 1, fighting out of London, David Choke!
The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Ben Hemmingworth and Hugh Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Choke slips under a jab.
Choke tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Choke fails with a takedown attempt.
Choke shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bautista but Bautista pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Bautista throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Choke sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Bautista thuds his right hand into Choke's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Choke slips under a jab.
Choke unleashes a big counter combination but Bautista bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Bautista, as that shot connected.

Bautista misses with a looping left.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Choke closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Bautista to the mat! Bautista manages to get full guard.
Choke tries to free his leg and advance position but Bautista is retaining full guard.
Bautista seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Bautista has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Choke wants to pass the guard but Bautista is keeping the position.
Choke throws a big elbow that misses.
Bautista pulls Choke in close to prevent any damage.
Bautista utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
We've been hearing good reports from Bautista's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Choke drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Choke jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Choke looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Bautista is avoiding damage well.

Choke has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Bautista is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Choke yanks on the arm and Bautista is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Choke.
