These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maenpaa misses with a body shot.
Adamos throws a head kick that misses.
Maenpaa is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Adamos.
Adamos ducks under a wild hook from Maenpaa.
Adamos let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land.
Maenpaa misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Adamos counters with a straight right hand.
Adamos throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

It looks like Juha Maenpaa has been cut.
Maenpaa misses with a hook. Adamos ducked under it nicely.
Maenpaa looks to throw the jab but Adamos is out of range.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Adamos! But no joy.
Maenpaa slips a jab from Adamos.
Maenpaa tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Adamos manages to circle out of the way.
Adamos cracks Maenpaa with a good jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Donk. Adamos catches Maenpaa right on the button with a cross.
Maenpaa takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Maenpaa throws the left hand but Adamos avoids the punch easily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Adamos lands with a hook. Maenpaa tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Maenpaa cracks a nice hook into Adamos's ribs.
Adamos throws a head kick that misses.
Adamos circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Maenpaa drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Adamos follows Maenpaa to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
