Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bento Barboza (ranked 117 p4p, 175 weight class) and Everest Frank (ranked 7 p4p, 11 weight class). Barboza comes to the cage accompanied by Angel Of Death. Frank has chosen Knife Talk x Drake ft. 21 Savage x Project Pat as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bento Barboza!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Everest Frank!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Donald Grub and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Barboza - that will leave a mark!
Frank closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Barboza's guard.
Frank throws a big right hand that misses.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Frank stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Barboza swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Frank trying to control the position from guard on top but Barboza is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Frank accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Barboza is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Frank throws a strike but Barboza rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Frank can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Barboza controls the pace.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Frank is on top in guard.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Frank has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Cannabis Fight Club. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Frank looking to sit in guard and control but Barboza gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Frank pulls Barboza in close to his closed guard and prevents Barboza from doing any damage or advancing position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Frank looking to hit a scissor sweep but Barboza is one step ahead there.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
A low kick lands for Barboza.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

and Barboza counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Bento Barboza will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Barboza is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Frank.
It looks like Everest Frank has been cut.
Barboza lands with a nice body kick.
Frank avoids the body shot from Barboza.
Frank blocks a jab.
Barboza is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Frank can do to turn this around?
Frank needs to keep his hands up - Barboza had a free shot at his head there.
No joy there for Frank, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
It looked like Barboza was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Barboza swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Barboza fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Frank shoots for a double leg takedown but Barboza sprawls well. He's pushed Frank's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Frank shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Barboza throws a right and a left that both miss.
Frank closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Barboza to the mat! Barboza manages to get full guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Frank lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Bento Barboza is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Barboza.
Barboza looks to score with a jab to the body but Frank is just out of range.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Frank shoots in but Barboza avoids the takedown attempt easily.

and Barboza counters with a nice body shot.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Everest Frank's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

and Barboza counters with a straight that turns Frank's legs to rubber! Barboza pushes forward with more strikes and Frank goes down, battered and bloody! That's a wrap folks!
