Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ed Bacon (ranked 4827 p4p, 4589 weight class) and Jack Lemire (ranked 0 p4p, 413 weight class). Bacon comes to the cage accompanied by Bacon. The key to victory for Ed Bacon has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ed Bacon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jack Lemire!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Felipe Paraventi and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lemire throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Bacon connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Lemire tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Bacon defends well and Lemire ends up having to push Bacon into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Bacon avoids the body shot from Lemire.
Bacon appears to be looking for a big counter.
Lemire misses with a takedown
and Bacon counters with a crisp right hand that drops Lemire! Bacon lets Lemire back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
Lemire is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bacon clinches with his opponent.
Lemire is still on wobbly legs! Can Bacon finish him?
Bacon escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Lemire closes the distance and pushes Bacon back into the cage.
Lemire seems to have recovered his senses.
Lemire drops down looking for an ankle pick but Bacon pulls his leg out and moves away.
Ed Bacon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Lemire.
Lemire misses with a body punch
and Bacon scores with a counter punch that sends Lemire to the canvas! Bacon smells blood - he's punishing Lemire with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Lemire has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ed Bacon!
Ed Bacon decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
