Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Hugo Loris (ranked 1711 p4p, 22942 weight class) and Felix Jaroslav (ranked 186 p4p, 558 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hugo Loris!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 19 - 2, fighting out of Amsterdam, Felix Jaroslav!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Cecil Peabody and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Loris throws the kick towards the body but Jaroslav avoids it.
Loris throws a series of punches but Jaroslav moves out of range.
Loris missing with a left hand there. Jaroslav was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Loris scores with a jab. Jaroslav acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Jaroslav walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Loris throws a solid leg kick but Jaroslav takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Loris.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Loris really must keep his cool here. He's controlling one of Jaroslav's hands and whilst he does that, he's got a chance of escaping the position.

That was a close round but I would say that Hugo Loris will probably get the nod.

Hugo Loris overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Loris controlling the position well here. Jaroslav rolled but Loris kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

I would just about give that final round to Felix Jaroslav.

After the fight, Hugo Loris was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
