Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Clubber Lang (ranked 3624 p4p, 3265 weight class) and Norman Boma (ranked 486 p4p, 447 weight class). Boma has chosen 4 Minute - Hot Issue as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Clubber Lang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Norman Boma!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Robert Twigg and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boma swings for the body but Lang moves out of range.
Boma scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Clubber Lang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lang misses with a wild body shot.
Boma looks like he wanted to counter with a high kick but didn't throw it.
Boma has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
Boma lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Boma lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Nice defenses there by Lang.
Boma feints and then cracks Lang's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Lang down.
Lang moves out of range of the strikes.
Lang scores with a hook to the body. Boma takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

Lang works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

Some bone on bone action there as Boma checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
This has been an exciting period of action!

It looked like Lang was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Good exchange - Boma coming out on top.

Boma is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Lang darts in trying to clinch
and Boma counters with a nice uppercut.
Boma throws a looping overhand right but Lang ducks down to avoid it.
Lang walks into a straight right hand from Boma.
Lang throws a hook to the side of Boma's head but Boma sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Lang does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Lang throws a lazy right hand but Boma sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Lang will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Lang looks to land a combination. Boma sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Lang clobbers Boma with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Boma, as that shot connected.
Boma looks to throw the jab but Lang is out of range.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Lang throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Boma stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Boma raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Boma defending well as Lang loads up on a big left hand.
Lang throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Boma throws a hook but Lang blocks it.
Boma is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Lang had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.
Boma lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

and Boma counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Lang throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Boma appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Lang lands with a cross.

and Boma counters with an inside leg kick.
Lang lands the left hand.

Boma lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Clubber Lang will probably get the nod.
That's time! Lang's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Boma closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

It looks like Lang has been trying to sharpen up his punching technique, as it looks crisper than last time we saw him.
Lang scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Boma connects with a good right hand that stumbles Lang. Lang circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Lang misses with a looping left.
Jab, jab by Boma - just one landing.
Boma checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Lang throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Clubber Lang is winning the standup battle so far.
Lang misses with a hook.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A punch lands to the side of Boma 's head but he takes it in his stride.
A looping hook to the body misses from Lang. Boma does a little dance to reset his feet.

Boma has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Boma misses with some punches.
Lang struggles to land a body shot inside as Boma controls his hands.
Boma breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Lang takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
A decent looking cross lands there for Boma.

A little jabbing left from Boma on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.

Lang throws a looping overhand right but Boma ducks down to avoid it.
Boma tries a head kick but it misses.
Boma bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Boma digs a good body shot into Lang's ribs.
Boma cracks Lang with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Oh Lang is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Lang seems to have got his legs back now.
Boma lands a big right hand that sends Lang crashing to the mat! Boma stays standing though and waves Lang back to his feet!
Lang has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.
Lang looks for the body kick but Boma saw that one coming.
Lang looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
Lang defending well as Boma loads up on a big left hand.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Boma cracks Lang with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Lang tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Boma pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Lang is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Norman Boma!
Norman Boma seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
