Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Giro Inhanamoto (ranked 4795 p4p, 24841 weight class) and Mariusz Pudzianowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

With a record of 3 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Mariusz Pudzianowski!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Hirohito Nitta and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Inhanamoto throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Pudzianowski shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Inhanamoto but Inhanamoto pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Oh, that's a big right hand from Inhanamoto and Pudzianowski goes tumbling to the canvas! Inhanamoto follows him to the ground and looks to finish from half guard.

Inhanamoto is fighting to break Pudzianowski's control of his arms but Pudzianowski is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Inhanamoto wants to improve his position but instead Pudzianowski has moved into half guard.

You can see the frustration on Inhanamoto's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.

Pudzianowski postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Inhanamoto looks a forlorn figure.

Pudzianowski wants to finish this one by submission but Inhanamoto is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Pudzianowski.

That was a close round but I would say that Giro Inhanamoto will probably get the nod.

That has opened up Mariusz Pudzianowski's cut even more.

Inhanamoto lands with a big right hook that stumbles Pudzianowski - he's out on his feet here! Inhanamoto follows up with another monster hook that separates Pudzianowski from consciousness! Pudzianowski falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Inhanamoto stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
