Gomez comes to the cage accompanied by POP SMOKE - GOT IT ON ME. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chan goes for a double leg but Gomez avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Gomez continues to drive forward.
Gomez throws a body punch but Chan moves out of range.

Chan breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Chan has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Gomez.

Chan has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Chan tries a head kick but it misses.

Gomez connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Chan! He's out on his feet! Gomez rushes in and drops Chan with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
