Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jerome Reece (ranked 4979 p4p, 4462 weight class) and Chie Satonaka (ranked 551 p4p, 517 weight class). Satonaka is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Rayden. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Chie Satonaka!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, David Schapiro and Chad Campbell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Reece misses with an attempted mid kick.
Reece circles away from the clinch attempt.
It looked like Reece was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Reece thows a body kick. Satonaka tries to catch it but that hurt him.
Satonaka swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Reece goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

It looks like Chie Satonaka has been cut.
A big right from Satonaka misses.

Satonaka gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Reece has had enough of the clinch but Satonaka keeps him there for the moment.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Satonaka has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Reece blocking some punches.
Reece is trying to break the clinch but Satonaka is controlling him.
A right hook to the body lands for Satonaka.
Satonaka pushes Reece back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
Satonaka can't find room to land a body shot as Reece controls the action.

Reece jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Satonaka walks away with a smile on his face. Reece gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Reece tries to circle away but Satonaka has him pinned against the cage.

Satonaka dips a shoulder and cracks Reece with a mighty uppercut! Reece falls back against the cage and Satonaka unloads with a barrage of strikes! Reece is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Satonaka screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
