The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson avoids the body shot from Brown.
Jackson wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

It looks like Marvin Jackson has been cut.
Jackson throws a nice looking combination but Brown bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Brown ducks right into an uppercut from Jackson.
Brown ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Jackson moves away.
Jackson will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Jackson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Brown moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Jackson has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Brown fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Jackson on the side of the head.

That has opened up Marvin Jackson's cut even more.

Brown slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

A quick step to the side and Brown tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Jackson dives in and grabs Brown's left leg, looking for a takedown. Brown pushes down on Jackson's head and hops out.

Brown fakes the body blow, causing Jackson to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Jackson goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
