The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Erenberg.

Minoru Ii moves into range and clinches up with Erenberg.
Minoru Ii tries a body shot but Erenberg blocks it.

Erenberg manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Minoru Ii manages to get himself to full guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Erenberg is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Minoru Ii can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Minoru Ii wants to control but Erenberg is having none of it.

Erenberg is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Minoru Ii defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
