Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Marcello Sosa (ranked 209 p4p, 285 weight class) and Lincoln Storm (ranked 28 p4p, 36 weight class). Sosa comes to the cage accompanied by HEARTLESS. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 21 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Marcello Sosa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 30 - 13 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lincoln Storm!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Yuuki Gou.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sosa checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
It looked like Sosa wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Storm, as that shot connected.
Sosa throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Storm makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Storm throws a right hand that misses
and Storm takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

It looks like Lincoln Storm has been cut.
Storm has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Storm walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Sosa checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Sosa was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Storm throws a hook to the side of Sosa's head but Sosa sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sosa is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Storm will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Sosa's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Storm connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Sosa scrambles back to his feet.

Storm fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Sosa checks it well.

Sosa on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

The fighters circle momentarily. Storm darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Sosa does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Storm fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Sosa has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Storm in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.

Lincoln Storm comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Storm has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
