Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Christian Gillet (ranked 3021 p4p, 2302 weight class) and Hanzo Hattori (ranked 400 p4p, 335 weight class). Hattori is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Red Warrior. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Christian Gillet!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Hanzo Hattori!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Paul Tew and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gillet moves forwards but Hattori connects with a nice, crisp jab.
It looks like Christian Gillet has been cut.
Gillet explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Hattori throws a body shot but no joy.
Gillet was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Hattori thuds his right hand into Gillet's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Gillet is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hattori.
Hattori jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Hattori displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Gillet throws out the jab.
Gillet ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Hattori moves away.
Hattori connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Gillet moves away from the strike by Hattori.
Christian Gillet seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hattori walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Gillet drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Hattori swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Gillet's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hanzo Hattori!
Our winner, Hanzo Hattori, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
