The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Donk. Lang catches Boma right on the button with a cross.

Boma throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A little feinted left hand from Lang on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

We've been informed that Boma has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.

Clubber Lang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Lang has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Lang might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Lang stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Lang is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Boma is rocked!
Lang walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Boma drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Lang swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Boma's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
