Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tyler Durden (ranked 4390 p4p, 4528 weight class) and Dave Winner (ranked 262 p4p, 271 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Dave Winner!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Sam Margolis and James Atkins.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Durden misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Winner blocks a head kick by Durden.
Durden wants to clinch

and Winner counters with a single leg into guard. Durden didn't expect that.

Winner throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Durden works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

You can see the frustration on Durden's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

Winner goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Durden has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Winner but great work by Durden.

Winner is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Horrible takedown attempt by Durden or perhaps it was just good defense by Winner, which made it look bad.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Winner tries to improve position but can't.
Winner tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Durden presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

Durden throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Winner because Durden loaded up on that one.

Durden has hold of Winner's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Winner manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Well Durden has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
