Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Choctaw Bloode (ranked 931 p4p, 1161 weight class) and Bjorn Akerfeldt (ranked 138 p4p, 178 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Bjorn Akerfeldt was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bjorn Akerfeldt!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Darius Henderson and John Mangel.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Akerfeldt dives in and grabs Bloode's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bloode pushes down on Akerfeldt's head and hops out.
Bjorn Akerfeldt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Akerfeldt shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Horrible takedown attempt by Akerfeldt or perhaps it was just good defense by Bloode, which made it look bad.
Choctaw Bloode has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bjorn Akerfeldt.
Bloode throws a good cross that connects.

Bloode explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Bloode dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Bloode takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

It looks like Bjorn Akerfeldt has been cut.
Akerfeldt fails with a takedown attempt.
It looked like Bloode was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Choctaw Bloode is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Akerfeldt takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Bloode drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Akerfeldt right on the button. Akerfeldt goes down! Bloode follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Bloode gets the win via TKO!
