The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Herman takes a jab right on the kisser.
Franco connects with a solid leg kick.

Herman closes the distance and clinches up with Franco, looking for a takedown. Herman pushes Franco against the cage but Franco circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Juan David Franco seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Franco throws out a counter right but Herman avoids it with no problem.
Franco is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Herman had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.
