Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jim Levenstein (ranked 4787 p4p, 3516 weight class) and Rio Boy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Rio Boy!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Emerson Jorge and Leandro Rodrigues.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boy is trying hard to land a takedown here. Levenstein sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Boy moves into the clinch successfully.

Levenstein is breathing heavily.
Levenstein has had enough of the clinch but Boy keeps him there for the moment.

Levenstein wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Boy clinches up with Levenstein and pushes him back against the cage.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Boy creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Boy manages to break the clinch.
Boy takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Boy feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Levensteins jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Boy takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Boy prevents Levenstein from getting the reversal.
Levenstein swinging wildly from the bottom but he's not landing.
Levenstein is trying desperately to improve position.
Boy controlling from the full mount.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Rio Boy showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
