The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Green misses with a leg kick.
Green getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Murdock has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Green shoots and misses
enabling Murdock to counter with a crisp jab.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Murdock lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Green doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Green wants to break the clinch but can't.

Murdock breaks from the clinch.
Green tries to move into range but Murdock moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Green thumps Murdock with a low kick.
Murdock throws a body punch but Green moves out of range.
Green gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Murdock counters with a nice uppercut.

Murdock darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Green's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Murdock before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
