PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Igor Shevchenko (ranked 1870 p4p, 6680 weight class) and Kenny Tchusuk (ranked 80 p4p, 190 weight class). Shevchenko comes to the ring accompanied by Mouth For War - Pantera. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Tchusuk staggers Shevchenko with a jab and knocks him down with a follow up straight! Shevchenko looks in trouble, will he beat the count?! The count has reached 5 and he's only back to 1 knee - it's going to be close! 6,7,8 - he's up! Just in time and the ref is going to let the fight continue!

Tchusuk drops a shoulder and throws a biiiig uppercut that drops Shevchenko onto his butt! Shevchenko pops straight back to his feet to convince the referee that he's OK to continue.

Oh Shevchenko is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Shevchenko uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Tchusuk.
Shevchenko stalks Tchusuk and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Tchusuk's face. Tchusuk staggers backwards, shaken.
Tchusuk takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Shevchenko has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Tchusuk.

Tchusuk lands a front kick to the face, that drops Shevchenko to the canvas! Is he dazed or just shocked? He's back to his feet and the referee is going to allow him to continue the fight!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
