Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kaoru Nagashima (ranked 2055 p4p, 2557 weight class) and Broklyn Red (ranked 211 p4p, 260 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Steve Erwin and Francis DeMontford.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Red scores with a one two! Nagashima had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.

Red throws a hook to the side of Nagashima's head but Nagashima sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Nagashima attempts a counter takedown but Red avoids it well and moves away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Nagashima is defended easily by Red.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Nagashima connects with a nice short shot to Red's temple.

Nagashima lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Red! More strikes land and this one is all over! Nagashima jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!

In his post fight interview, Kaoru Nagashima started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
