Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bobby Chunks!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jason Mendoza!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Eddie Farnsworth and Alyssa Summers.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chunks swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Mendoza connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Chunks swings for the body but Mendoza moves out of range.
Mendoza throws a big counter head kick but Chunks avoids it with no problem.
Bobby Chunks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chunks shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Mendoza counters by moving into the clinch.
Mendoza lands a good knee to the midsection. Chunks won't want to take too many of those.
Chunks tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Chunks lands a takedown into guard.
Chunks loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Chunks trying to control but Mendoza is working from the bottom.
Chunks missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Chunks trying to control the position from guard on top but Mendoza is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Mendoza working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Chunks.
Chunks seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Chunks throws a strike but Mendoza rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Chunks is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Chunks looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Chunks is trying to keep Mendoza in close.
Chunks has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Chunks is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Mendoza tries to clinch there but Chunks circles away.
Mendoza jabs Chunks right on the nose. Chunks blinks but takes it well.
Chunks throws a right and a left that Mendoza avoids nicely.
Chunks missing with a left hand there. Mendoza was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Chunks's corner calls for a 1-2. Chunks obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Mendoza tries to close the distance and clinch up but Chunks swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Chunks was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Mendoza lands a jab to the nose.
Chunks misses the body punch

and Mendoza counters with a crisp right hand that drops Chunks! Mendoza lets Chunks back up to his feet, looking for a finish!

Chunks is rocked!

It looks like Bobby Chunks has been cut.
Mendoza looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Mendoza backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Chunks's temple! It sends Chunks violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Mendoza celebrates and the doctors try to help Chunks!
