The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Krylov closes the distance looking to clinch
letting Conway counter with a right hand.

Krylov misses with an uppercut
and Conway counters with a straight punch to the midsection.

Krylov lands a big head kick that sends Conway tumbling to the mat! Krylov takes a step backwards and waves Conway back to his feet - he wants the finish!

and Conway counters with a left to the body.

and Conway counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Krylov throws a hook to the side of Conway's head but Conway sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Krylov looks to land a combination but Conway avoids it well.

Krylov takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

Conway is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Krylov had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.
Krylov tries to score a power double leg takedown but Conway sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Krylov somewhat.
Krylov swings for the body but Conway moves out of range.

Conway connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Krylov momentarily.
Krylov shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Conway as he jumps to the side.

Conway appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

It looks like Ivan Krylov has been cut.
Krylov pulls out of a head kick attempt.

Conway throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Krylov on the side of the head.

Conway lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Krylov backs up against the cage.

Oh Krylov is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Ivan Krylov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Krylov swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Conway scores with a counter punch that sends Krylov to the canvas! Conway smells blood - he's punishing Krylov with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Krylov has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
