Cider comes to the cage accompanied by Havana. Gilbervan Soares has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Fistin Cider's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Gilbervan Soares!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Daniel Bishop and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cider takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Cider uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Soares has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Cider throws a jab but it's blocked by Soares.

It seemed like Soares was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Soares scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Cider doesn't seem bothered though.

Soares fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Cider looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Cider is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.
Cider wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Soares closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Cider out cold! Cider corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
