Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bryant Smith (ranked 722 p4p, 683 weight class) and Zaid Al Balushi (ranked 89 p4p, 82 weight class). Smith's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Television - Marquee Moon. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Al Balushi moves away from the strike by Smith.
Al Balushi appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Smith throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Al Balushi.

It looks like Zaid Al Balushi has been cut.
Al Balushi staying out of range there.
Smith misses with a hook.
Smith looks to land a right hand but Al Balushi moved out of range.
Smith scores with a jab. Al Balushi acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Al Balushi is rocked!
A jab lands there for Smith.
Al Balushi is still on wobbly legs! Can Smith finish him?
Smith pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Al Balushi is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Al Balushi blocks a head kick by Smith.
Smith swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Al Balushi now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
A chopping leg kick lands by Al Balushi.
A head kick misses from Smith.

Smith cracks Al Balushi with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Al Balushi looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Smith finish him?
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Al Balushi bobbing and weaving nicely... He's ducked under a jab and ducks again but ooooooh! Smith comes at him with an uppercut from hell! Al Balushi falls to the canvas, unconscious! This one is all over! Oh man, looking at the replay that was right on the button! Al Balushi was out before he hit the floor!
