Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jingky Bacolod (ranked 3510 p4p, 2272 weight class) and Deontay DJ (ranked 389 p4p, 262 weight class). Bacolod comes to the cage accompanied by Havana. DJ is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Lil Scrappy - No Problem. Jingky Bacolod has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bacolod shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts DJ as he jumps to the side.

We've been informed that DJ has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
DJ wants to break the clinch but can't.

DJ pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

DJ is trying to push Bacolod away but Bacolod has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Bacolod tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. DJ smiles and moves away.
Bacolod takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
DJ looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

DJ fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bacolod, pushing him back against the cage.

DJ moves into the clinch.
Bacolod is trying to drag DJ to the mat but DJ just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Bacolod crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from DJ - the referee stops the clock and Bacolod gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says DJ. Bacolod manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
No joy there for DJ, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Well DJ has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
