With a record of 16 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Edward Conan!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Chris Edwards and Andrew Berry.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Banner scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Conan doesn't seem bothered though.
Conan takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Conan fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Banner manages to avoid it.
Banner has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Randall's Top Team in the buildup to the fight.
Conan wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Conan steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Banner . That one must have hurt.
Banner drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
A slow jab from Banner misses its intended target.
Conan misses the shot to the body.
Some wild striking there from Banner .
It seemed like Conan was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Banner fails to land with a series of punches.
Conan ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Banner scores with a head kick. Conan tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Conan takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Lamont Banner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Conan throws a good cross that connects.
Banner throws a shot from downtown. Conan moves away and avoids it.
Banner fails in his attempt to clinch.

A big left from Conan misses.
A little feinted left hand from Banner on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Conan stuns Banner with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Conan will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Banner misses with a hook. Conan ducked under it nicely.
A solid body kick from Banner .
Conan throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Banner clinches up with Conan and pushes him back against the cage.
A nice right hand lands inside from Conan.

Banner manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Conan is pushing down on Banner 's leg trying to pass to half guard. Banner is fighting to maintain full guard but Conan has managed to sneak the leg through.

Banner is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Conan pulls his head out easily.
Banner wants to improve his position but Conan is controlling well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Conan looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Conan is keen to just control but Banner is a slippery customer.

Conan is looking to take a break and control but Banner is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Conan is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Banner is just riding it out for now. Conan eventually gives up the hold.

Banner is refusing to be controlled, as Conan sits in half guard.

Banner tries to buck Conan off but Conan is having none of it.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Conan wants to control but Banner is keeping him busy.
Banner is looking for a sweep.

Banner is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
Conan landing a few strikes.
Conan cracks Banner with a big right hand but Banner just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

Conan is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Conan throws a body shot but no joy.
Banner throws a quick counter kick to the body but Conan avoids it.

Banner clinches up with Conan and pushes him back against the cage.
Conan throws a head punch that misses.
Banner tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Conan just stands there and leans against the cage.

Conan takes a shot to the head.

Banner jumps guard.
Conan with a nice head shot there.

Banner is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Conan defends well.

Banner is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Conan is aware though and is defending well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Conan has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Banner to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Conan is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Banner pulls down on the head and he's put Conan to sleep! This one is all over!
