A big right from Myers misses.
Myers throws a hook but Santos blocks it.
Myers throws a big shot that misses.
Santos changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Myers tries to bum rush Santos with a series of wild strikes but Santos uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

and Santos counters with a takedown into side control.
Santos is staying tight to Myers's torso, preventing him from escaping.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
It looks like Santos might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Myers wants to get back to his feet but Santos drags him back down.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The referee asks Santos politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Santos prefers to stall for the moment though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Myers is pushing Santos's head away, looking to escape. Santos manages to hold on to the position though.

Myers really wants to buck Santos off and get back to his feet.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Myers can't find room to land a body shot as Santos controls the action.
Santos has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Myers after a bit of a struggle.

Myers swings wildly with an uppercut but Santos uses good head movement to avoid it.
