PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight kickboxing rules bout between Wassa Tayu (ranked 24154 p4p, 23901 weight class) and Piger Whok (ranked 539 p4p, 544 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Whok's choice of entrance music: King of Kings - Motorhead. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the featherweight division.

That kick from Whok tenderised Tayu's leg. Tayu is trying to keep his angry face on.
Whok steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Tayu.
Whok throws out a loose jab but Tayu uses good head movement to avoid it.
Tayu on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Whok cracks Tayu with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Good work by Tayu as he checks the leg kick.

and Tayu counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Whok throws an overhand right that lands on Tayu's shoulder, as Tayu tries to avoid the shot.
Tayu takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Whok moves in looking to clinch but Tayu pushes him off.

Whok cracks Tayu with a big elbow, right in the eye socket! Tayu drops to his knees in obvious pain! The referee starts the count but it's plainly obvious that Tayu isn't going to get back to his feet. The referee counts none the less and Whok struts around the mat, safe in the knowledge that this one is over. A big win for Whok!

Piger Whok decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
