Krampus pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Zexi cracks a nice hook into Krampus's ribs.
Zexi throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Zexi tries to clinch up but Krampus circles away and keeps his distance.
Krampus dives in for a single leg takedown but Zexi sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Zexi lands a nice hook to Krampus's body. Krampus takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Krampus ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Zexi moves away.
Zexi wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Krampus has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Zimmer Babies in the buildup to the fight.
Zexi tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Krampus was well out of range. Poor timing from Zexi.
Zexi is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Krampus.
Krampus throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Zexi drives through and clinches with Krampus against the cage.
Krampus is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Zexi pulls him back up using the underhooks.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Zexi has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Zexi misses with a hook to the ribs.
Zexi lands a hook that snaps the head of Krampus backwards.
Krampus stalls.
Krampus tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Krampus throws a head punch that misses.
Zexi gets underhooks to prevent Krampus's takedown attempt.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Zexi creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Krampus wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Zexi gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Krampus regains guard.

Zexi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Krampus swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Krampus tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Zexi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Krampus swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Krampus is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Zexi frees his head nicely. Oh but Krampus has switched to an armbar! Zexi is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
